Our director John Ruston has a particular interest in and has extensive experience of working with older buildings. John is a member of SPAB, The Society for the Protection of Ancient Builings and has attended their Repair of Old Buildings course.
We have decades of experience working on all kinds of listed buildings for domestic and commercial clients.
One of the most challenging building areas we approach are Grade II Listed Buildings, an area of expertise that calls for our exceptional communication, project management and design skills to bring together successful end results. With a difficult balance to reach between modern essentials and maintaining the character of an old building, we work hard to make the process as simple as possible.
We particularly enjoy working with old buildings and pride ourselves on the knowledge and experience we have. Our director John Ruston is from a long line of London builders who have passed down their knowledge of the methods and materials used from generation to generation. John studies the methods needed and has also attended lectures and courses to make sure the company is up to date with all the information and skills needed for this specialised work.
